Visiting Berlin!

I just spent a lovely long weekend in Berlin as a last minute holiday before going back to University and back to a life of studying, essays and stress. May as well enjoy the last bit of freedom I have!
We flew from Glasgow International airport and stayed in a nice hotel just outside the city. All in all flight and hotel cost me £246.

The public transport in Berlin is amazing! And it was easy to get in and out of the city quickly and the subway is a great link between all the tourist attractions you'd want to see.

While in Berlin I purchased the Welcome Berlin card, This card gets you free public transport and percentages off tourist attractions like the TV tower, Madame Tussauds and the open top bus around the city. I highly recommend this card if you want to go around all of the main tourist attractions but don't want to be paying full prices. I think this would be great for big groups and families to save yourself a bit of money. You can buy this card for anywhere between 2-5 days.

Here is the link to the website for anymore information:

Here are some of my pictures of Berlin! I hope if you decide to go you enjoy it! It is such a pretty city and I would love to go back!
